Bealls Florida is a retail chain of department stores owned by Beall's, Inc., headquartered in Bradenton, Florida. The company operates over 520 stores in 16 U.S. states, mostly in the southeastern region of the country. The company was founded in 1915 by Robert M. Beall, Sr., and his son, Bill Beall. The first store was located in downtown Bradenton. In 1987, the Bealls family sold the company to Burkes Outlet Stores, Inc.
In 2015, Bealls Florida celebrated its 100th anniversary with special events and promotions held throughout the year.
